About UPAST

The Uttar Pradesh Advocates Sports Trust (UPAST) is a registered trust established with the primary objective of promoting sports and physical well-being among members of the legal fraternity. The Trust aims to foster camaraderie, unity, and a spirit of healthy competition among practicing lawyers through the organization of various sporting events, including badminton, cricket, volleyball, and other games.

UPAST has a commendable record of successfully organizing multiple Advocates' Tournaments and represented the state at the All-India Lawyers' Cricket Tournament held at Prayagraj in December 2023. Further, in 2024, UPAST achieved another milestone by conducting the first-ever football tournament for lawyers, titled "Law Liga", which received overwhelming participation and appreciation.

Building upon its legacy of excellence, UPAST has now been entrusted with the prestigious opportunity to host the 3rd All India Lawyers' Cricket Tournament at Lucknow, in collaboration with the Indian Solicitors Cricket Association (ISCA). This grand sporting event will bring together eminent lawyers from across the country to showcase their cricketing talent, sportsmanship, and professional fellowship on a national platform.
